Academic Programs

Baylor University staff and faculty are committed to supporting the University’s mission of educating men and women for worldwide leadership by offering a range of academic programs and courses that introduce students to new perspectives, worldviews, and frameworks of thinking to develop the Christian values of compassion, empathy, and humility.

Majors and Courses

Baylor has several majors and courses of study meant to introduce students to the myriad worldviews, cultures, backgrounds, languages, and faiths that exist in the world in order to create and form critical thinkers and scholars who are ready to serve as active citizens and thoughtful community leaders.

Baylor/Xavier University Exchange Program
The purpose of the Baylor/Xavier University Exchange Program is to coordinate efforts to introduce students to new environments that create an awareness of different institutional and cultural perspectives.

The Baylor McNair Scholars Program aims to prepare low-income, first generation and other underrepresented students in acquiring the knowledge, skills and capacities necessary to successfully navigate a path to a Ph.D.
