Stop the Violence: This Matters Forum to Discuss Racial & Ethnic Tensions in America

THIS Matters is committed to engaging students, staff, and faculty at Baylor University to current local and global events through discussion and presentation of different perspectives by faculty members with unique takes on the topics.

On Thursday, July 14, the This Matters Committee will host a panel of experts to provide different perspectives on the growing racial and ethnic tensions in America with a follow up discussion of how we ought to understand the events and respond to them.

Dr. Kevin Dougherty, Associate Professor of Sociology, Dr. Mia Moody-Ramirez, Associate Professor in the Journalism, Public Relations & New Media Department, and Dr. Stephen B. Reid, Professor of Christian Scriptures at Truett Seminary, will serve as our panelists.

All are invited to join us as we discuss these very important and timely topic at the North Village Common Room at 4:30 pm on Thursday, July 14.
